Inserts are additional materials included in shipments — promotional flyers, thank-you cards, product samples, or informational leaflets.

Overview

The Inserts feature lets you define materials that should be included with specific shipments. When a consignment matches the insert criteria, the Pack Station displays a reminder for the packing team to include the items.

Types of inserts

Common examples:

  • Thank-you cards — Branded cards for customer appreciation
  • Promotional flyers — Current offers or new product announcements
  • Product samples — Sample products included with orders
  • Informational materials — Care instructions, usage guides
  • Seasonal materials — Holiday-specific inserts

How inserts work

Inserts can be configured to appear for:

  • All orders — Every shipment includes the insert
  • Specific customers or groups — Targeted inserts for certain accounts
  • Specific channels — Different inserts for different sales channels
  • Time-limited campaigns — Inserts active during a date range

At the Pack Station, applicable inserts appear in a dedicated panel alongside packing instructions, ensuring the team knows exactly what to include.

Seasonal updates

Remember to review and update your active inserts seasonally. Remove expired promotional materials and add current ones to keep shipments fresh and relevant.
