Create and manage price quotes for customers before converting them to orders.
Quotes let you create formal price proposals for customers. Once approved, a quote can be converted into an order with all the details carried over.
QuotesOverview
The Quotes page shows all your price quotations with their current status. Quotes move through a lifecycle from creation to acceptance (or rejection) and optionally convert into orders.
Quote workflow
Create a quote
Navigate to Commerce → Quotes and create a new quote. Select the customer and add products with quantities and pricing.
Review and send
Review the quote details, total value, and send it to the customer. The quote includes product details, quantities, unit prices, and totals.
Customer responds
Update the quote status based on the customer's response — accepted, rejected, or revision requested.
Convert to order
If the quote is accepted, convert it directly into an order. All line items, pricing, and customer details carry over automatically.
Quote details
Each quote includes:
- Customer — Who the quote is for
- Line items — Products, quantities, and unit prices
- Totals — Subtotal, any discounts, and grand total
- Validity period — How long the quote remains valid
- Status — Draft, Sent, Accepted, Rejected, Expired
- Notes — Terms, conditions, or special instructions
Pricing consistency
Quotes automatically use the applicable pricing rules for the selected customer. You can override individual line item prices if needed for a specific deal.
Searching and filtering
- Search — Find quotes by number, customer name, or reference
- Status filter — View quotes at a specific stage
- Client filter — Filter by client in multi-client setups
