Channels
Configure and manage your sales channels for multi-channel commerce.
Channels represent the different platforms and methods through which you sell products — whether that's your own website, marketplaces, wholesale orders, or point of sale.
ChannelsOverview
The Channels page lists all your configured sales channels. Each channel has its own settings, pricing rules, and can have products listed independently.
Channel types
Helium supports several channel types to cover different selling methods:
- Marketplace — Third-party platforms like Amazon, eBay, or Etsy
- Website — Your own e-commerce website or Shopify store
- Wholesale — B2B orders from trade customers
- Point of Sale — In-person sales at retail locations or events
- Custom — Any other sales method specific to your business
Setting up a channel
Navigate to Channels
Go to Commerce → Channels in the sidebar.
Create a new channel
Click the create button and select the channel type.
Configure settings
Enter the channel name, type, and any integration-specific settings. You can also assign a pricing rule to control how products are priced on this channel.
Start listing products
Once the channel is configured, use the Listings feature to make products available on it.
Channel integration
Depending on the channel type, you may need to configure API credentials or connection settings for automated order syncing and listing management.
Channel-specific pricing
Each channel can have its own pricing rule, so you can sell at different price points across different platforms. Marketplace channels might include platform fees in their pricing, while wholesale channels use trade discounts.
