Products
Manage your product catalogue — add, edit, search, and organise your SKUs.
The Products page is the heart of your catalogue — a searchable, customisable list of every product (SKU) in your system. From here you can manage product details, specifications, pricing, and channel availability.
ProductsOverview
The product catalogue displays all your SKUs in a paginated table (100 items per page) with dynamic columns for specifications, pricing, and sales channel availability. It's designed for both quick lookups and bulk management.
Searching for products
Helium offers two search modes for finding products:
- Fuzzy search (default) — Matches partial terms and common misspellings, great for quick lookups
- Exact match — Toggle to exact mode when you need precise results, such as searching by a specific SKU code
Filter by supplier
You can filter the product list by supplier to see only products from a specific vendor. This is especially useful when reviewing a supplier's range or preparing purchase orders.
You can also filter products by:
- Client — In multi-client setups, view products for a specific client
- Supplier — See products from a particular supplier
- Sales channel — Filter by channel availability
Adding a new product
Open the create dialog
Click the New SKU button to open the product creation form.
Enter product details
Fill in the required fields including SKU code, product title, brand, and supplier. You can also set pricing information and apply pricing rules at this stage.
Add specifications
Enter product specifications such as dimensions, weight, materials, or any custom specification fields. These appear as dynamic columns in the product list.
Save the product
Save the new SKU. It will immediately appear in your catalogue and be available for orders, listings, and other features.
Editing products
Single product editing
Click on any product in the list to view and edit its details. You can update any field including:
- Product title, brand, and description
- Supplier assignment
- Pricing and pricing rules
- Specifications
- Sales channel availability
Bulk editing
For updating multiple products at once:
Enter edit mode
Switch to Edit mode using the toggle in the toolbar.
Select products
Check the products you want to update.
Apply changes
Make changes to the editable fields. Changes are applied to all selected products.
Bulk changes are immediate
Bulk edits are applied as soon as you confirm. Double-check your selection before applying changes, especially when updating pricing or supplier assignments.
Custom views
Save frequently used column layouts and filter combinations as custom views. This is useful for different workflows — for example:
- A "Pricing Review" view showing price columns prominently
- A "Channel Status" view showing availability across your sales channels
- A "Supplier Range" view filtered to a specific supplier
Views are saved per user and can be quickly switched from the view selector.

AI content generation
You can generate product descriptions using AI directly from the product list. Select a product and use the Generate Content action to create titles, descriptions, and marketing copy. See the Content AI article for more on batch generation.
Importing products
For bulk product creation, use the import feature at Insights → Import → Products. This accepts CSV files and supports mapping columns to product fields, making it easy to load large catalogues.
